• Game times and field locations may be changed at any time without prior notice.
• The only official source for the current schedule is the daily posted schedule on the VMSL website. Schedule updates will not be sent by email, phone, or message.
• VMSL reserves the right to change game times and field assignments without team approval when deemed to be in the best interest of the league, including to help prevent team forfeits.

Teams and players are responsible for checking the schedule on the VMSL website daily and refreshing their browser to ensure they are viewing the most up-to-date information.

⚽ Team Manager Game-Day Checklist

🪪 Player Identification

☐ All players have a VMSL ID card or government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.)
☐ ID includes date of birth
☐ Coaches, managers, and team staff also have valid identification

📋 Roster Verification

☐ All players are officially registered on the team roster
☐ Player names match league registration records
☐ No unregistered or suspended players are participating

🎂 Age Eligibility

☐ Each player meets the minimum age requirement for the division
☐ Players are registered in the correct age group

🔁 Multiple Division Check

☐ Player is not playing on two teams in the same age group
☐ If playing in multiple divisions, they must be in different age groups

Example:
✔ Major 45 + Major 55 / ❌ Premier 35 + Major 35

📅 Daily Schedule Check

☐ Confirm game time and field location
☐ Check the league schedule on the website for any updates or changes, and refresh your browser to ensure you are viewing the latest version
☐ Confirm player availability

🧑‍⚖️ Referee & League Compliance

☐ Be prepared to show player IDs if requested
☐ Ensure the team follows league eligibility rules
☐ Report any roster issues before the match

Communication Guidelines

• Do not text or call any VMSL Director regarding league matters. Any such attempts will be ignored.
• Players and coaches must not approach league directors during matches to discuss VMSL rules, game concerns, or any other soccer-related issues.
• All league-related matters must be communicated only via email to info@vmsl.ca.

Any direct verbal or in-person communication with a VMSL Director—on or off the field—resulting in an altercation, argument, or dispute over game results, referees, or VMSL rules will be treated as an unofficial complaint and will not be investigated due to failure to follow proper protocol

During Games

• Only referees may be approached for rule clarifications, and this must be done respectfully.
• Players and coaches must not approach league directors during matches regarding rules or game concerns.
• Any concerns must go through official complaint procedures via email.

The VMSL will respond only through: Email correspondence sent to info@vmsl.ca, or Completed official VMSL forms

VMSL Business Hours & Communication Policy

• All VMSL business activities are to be conducted during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Communications received outside of these hours, including evenings and weekends, will not be monitored or addressed until the next business day.
• Teams and Players are expected to adhere to this schedule for all VMSL-related communications and operations.

Important Notice

• VMSL is strictly regulated / Rules are final and non-negotiable / Full compliance with fees, rosters, game sheets, and discipline is mandatory
